Hi people. Here's my first round of renders of my mean looking dragon. Took about 3 days to box model. Now I'm going to spend just as long modeling an evil-looking rider dude. Let me know what you think. Thanks alot.

Looks great, very traditional and well executed. Textures will make or break the final images.

i love dragons!!!!
and yours is realy good :) i like the head!

anyhow i think u should work on the back-foots a bit more(make them stronger); u could also make the bones of the spine visible under the skin...

Thanks for your comments everyone. I'll have him skinned and a rider mounted in roughly a weeks time.

He man that's a nice dragon you have there.
I like it.
I don't know what you are going to do with it after finished texuring it. and maybe I'm to early comenting it, but for now it is floting in the air which makes it a bit stiff and when you put the feet on the ground and put him in some kind of a position I think it can even be greater.:wip:

Yeah, you're right dude. Thats just the way I modeled it, though he will be flying in the final image, so the pose should look alot better. Thanks again.

I couldn't help but notice that your dragon looks a lot like
this picture by Clyde Caldwell titled 'Golden General' from the
Dragonlance saga. Is this the look you were going for?

Not too far off model...I would smooth it out a bit where the wing
meets the body though...

Good luck
