Go to the MR globals, and under the "Quality" section, change the Render Quality from "Derive from Maya" to "Production". A new tab appears, with a "Sampling Quality" section. If the anti-aliasing still doesn't please you, lower the Contrast R/G/B values to 0.05 or even less. If you're still not happy with the render quality, increase the Max Samples value to 3 or 4 (this increases render time significantly). Leave the Min Samples at 0. You can also play with the filter width/height, but keep in mind that increasing these values will blur your image somewhat.
