Looks really good. It's a shame the image compression has hammered the crap out of your image though; I don't think it's doing the model justice. Any chance you could get some webspace to show us a better quality image?

I have to agree with Mr.Sasquatch - it looks a great model - its like having a virtual garage kit without all the messing around gluing your fingers together.
Which anime is this from? In terms of environment, if it were me, I would be watching the anime in which the character appears and just pick out an environment from there.
What software did you use as well? Can we have a close up of the face?
Good job!

That looks pretty great. The image might be a bit too small to show detail or some errors which woul otherwise be missed, but the thing is I don't think there are any :D
If you need a host for your images, check out www.free-host.com they're offering 20 megabytes of free web space.
thanks, I used maya 4, heres a closer image of the face, I also checked for the free 20MB space it said to check back later, but thx for the info and the cons crit sorry bout the bad res on the pics.

Meh, free host are quite unreliable =/
Okay, here's something I just noticed. With the character wearing that armor on her shoulders, it makes it appear as if her arms are disconnected from her body, or that her shoulders are incredibly wide.

Hey Les
Thanks for the close-up - wow that was quick!
You might want to have a look at Yamag's garage - he does similar stuff to you, but with Evangelion characters:

I really like how you've done her hair and the reflections on her armour - the only real crit having seen her up close is that the eyes just look like textures painted on to the face. The skin looks a little dark as well but since I don't know the character, then this might be normal.
Great looking character though.

Thank for the crits, for the hair I used nurbs speres and duplicated them and tweak so it doesnt look so uniforme, as for the reflection, I used raytrace shadows, and increased the refractions.
