sigh* thought it would be pure organic topic this time. also, i wished it would be small and more concentrated towards quality, rather than quantity, ie, modeling something very big with lots of things going on.

Trust me on this one.
I has a PURE organic components (actually a couple), and they are very tough.
It is funny becuase at first glance it will seem simple.

is it any of Bernini's work ?

btw, can we possibly have a vote between two topics: first topic being this one and second topic is 3d likeness of a historical figure(you pick the person).

If it is Traf Square the mermaid creatures in the fountains would be fantastic to model.

Jaspar

Certainly an interesting variety of things to model in the square, perhaps a bit too many! Would need a generous time limit!

hey Roberto, sorry to bug you so much but just to make it clear that when i said "vote" i meant about the vote i asked before:

btw, can we possibly have a vote between two topics: first topic being this one and second topic is 3d likeness of a historical figure(you pick the person).

but anyways, this is a nice challenge too. good luck to all!

hey Roberto, any clues for the next challenge? is it organic or hard surface? can we make it something that can be finished completely so that people can have decent entries by the deadline. the entire trafalgar square seems to be a little out there. i know people can model parts of it but thats not the challenge. when you put so many items in one topic then its a tendency to model more items rather than modeling one item very well. so why not just make the subject smaller. for example i could see just one element of the trafalgar square as being the challenge, not the entire place.
ill stop rambling now. any ideas on what next topic will be ?
