untar it, usually people put it in /usr/nreal, but you can put it anywhere you want. Now run it.

No spaces in path though (at least that's what I recall).

in Terminal , i have this:
[shake@localhost bin]$ ./shake
/home/shake/Desktop/toto/shake4/bin/shkx.exe: error while loading shared libraries: libGL.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory111

I run on Fedora Core 6. There is possible to have a something wrong with the security options ?
I don't understand what do you mean " No spaces in path though (at least that's what I recall)", where i do it ?
how to run a shake ?

thanks

Did you install the drivers for your video card? Not the drivers that come with Fedora. Shake needs opengl in order to run.

yes, i solved the problem.
i needed to install some missing library files and setup correctly video card drivers that's all.
Linux not very fun for the newbie.i'm going to enjoy with shake....
So thanks again for all.
