This a very . . . .interesting piece of work, it looks sort of like an alien dog from the front view . . . but there are several improvements that can be made on the model.

First, some wringles under the eyes would greatly to him in my opinion, because right now his skin looks far too smooth and just doesn't seem to fit in with the wone of the model.

Wrinkles on the lower part of the face around the mouth?? wouldn't be too bad either.

Those things fitting over the eyes (a mask?) appear to be well defined, give the eyes a very unrealistic quality, perhaps it might be better to move the vertices around so that those things might stretch out some more, giving it a "flatter" look.

That's all for now, hope this helps some :)

It didn't scare my cat, so I guess it's not a monster...hmmm maybe a "good" monster? hmmmm... I think it's too pointy...who knows?

Hi there!
I just have to ask, do u have a concept for this model? Because to me it kind of looks a bit like u started to model into space when u started this project. Of course, u dont need a concept perse, but i thnk that this is why it looks like all the spikey stuff u added, were basically added becoz u needed to add something.. Right now, its hard to tell what is what, but i also realize its still a wip. By the way, what program are u using? Is it by any chance c4d?

Im not saying this cannot be good in the end. I just think u really need to work out some kind of concept. Modelling without one is ok, but then it is important to at least get it straight in ur head what u want to model.

I know ur still a beginner and thats why i know ull improve, but im sorry, i dont think this is *awesome*

Keep working on it tho! Keep improving ur skills and i know ull make it a nice piece of modelwork

Thanks, the "awesome" part ment alot tome! :D
Im surprisingly using Wing3D.
I added somemore bone structure,
hey, only about 2 more hours till you see the new head.
Its seppost to represent an alien,
the reason i made it to get furmiliar with the diffrent things on Wing3D.
I added the spikes to make it look better, and because i dont know how to make other things yet,
yesterday i kind of figured out on how to make human lips.

well check back in about 2 1/2 hours!

certainly came a long way from the first image

now...i know this has been said a couple of times before, but i also suggest you just keep on adding more detail to him...i know modelling in alot of detail can be a painstaking process, but its worth it....im not a very strong modeller myself, so i know how you must feel , being a beginner, and realizing how long this stuff actually takes...not to mention how much concentration...but anyway, keep adding detail (something under the eyes maybe?) and it'll really come along! :buttrock:

Im not sure how or what to add anything under the eyes since i got those to spike/bone/horns there,
and more detail, detail in what?

And im having problems with the mouth...
ya it does take a lot of concentration thats why i started on that space ship on my other post.

I dont know whats uo with me, but everytime i can get further I start over or leave it unfixed and forget about it....
anyways, any tips on what to add in details? Wrinkles? I jsut found out how to make those i think!

you've made huge improvements with those features. Try pulling the back of the head inwards or outwards and narrowing the basic shape of the head, you might end up with a less spherical shape making it look more real perse. I'm looking forward to seeing it once you get textures on it actually, and once you have this whole model finished and start working on tweaking and giving it more surface effects. I also looked at your space ship wip, it's looking cool. But yeah, my only crit is that it could be less spherical in it's basic shape. Unless it comes from a low gravity planet so it grew up more soft and bulbous or how they might spell that word =) It's all your choice, I just think he/she might suit a more narrow and stealthy look. anywho, keep it up :D

what do you mean pulling the head inwards or outwards?
by the way thanks for the tip
