Yeah, yeah...Just getting pummelled here. :)

I was scraping the bottom of the barrel...in Vegas...didn't bring enough clothes...plus I forgot the Tool shirt. :buttrock:

I find it funny how young most of maxon's tech support is, in the US and UK, not sure how old anyone in the german office is ;) Makes me feel less special about being young. Now how come I'm not technical support?

As for chris, your the one I see around the most, so I'll stick up for you.

Not sure with them...average here is about 22 yrs old.

Damn! It wasn't enough for you to have access to all the beta releases and super secret stuff, was it? NO!! you had to go and listen to the best band in the world while playing with it...

It's one big constant, mp3 fest in the lab. :buttrock: Usually drives everyone else away. ;) After hours, we usually fire up a little Counter-Strike and waste away the evening hours. We were knocking around the idea of opening up the server and allowing the users to go head to head with the techs. :thumbsup:

I'm a wee bit younger than you mash and I've been buying beer for near three years total,how young can you buy beer in the UK.

Of course how old you need to be to buy and how old you start drinking arwe two seperate issues.

And Chris I think the main reason I'm not tech support, is I'm a warcraft kind of guy rather than counterstrike. :) I prefer the godly control hundreds of minions that kill eachother rather than the sneak around and hope you shoot them before they shoot you kind of guy. I'd love to see someone do psych profiles on people based on what kinds of games they play.

This is definitely a friday type of thread. but I'll take this over an app war anyday

Looks like the U.S. team is scoring already!
After some information leak early this week where we found out that Maxon was working on a version 8.1 with lots of new and exciting stuff i thought Mash would have a hard time at the office.
But i was so wrong...
It's only starting. Can you imagine?? Mash, sitting at his desk, being beated by all those young american beer drinkers at counterstrike while david link is thinking of a way to fire him... and last, but not least, after revealing his icq# to the world, having that little yellow icon blinking on the corner of the screen every time someone has some trouble with C4D.

sounds like me on trillian, bad when one program supports ICQ/msn/Aol/yahoo, its always going off, so much I've had to turn it off during War Craft to prevent me from getting my but kicked.

oddly it doesn't seem to help much I still loose to Ambient Whisper and Chi all the time

You'd get aong with my broither, as far as he is concerned we are twins right now. You see he's 2 years older than me so evry time I'm on a round number he is that numberplus too, so if I'm twentry that means he's twenty TOO (as well). On another note, the problem is fixed, I have to say I'm quite impressed with the support form blizzard, they sent me a new registry file, I applied it, and now no problems at all, seems some cd's had bad installers, so now I'm still losing, but this time I finishe the whole game losing. Just won my first game
