la-bama,
Lol, welcome to the Anatomy Forum. :) Let me first ask you - are you planning to attend a life drawing class? Do you have examples of your previous work which you can post so that we can help you further?
Cheers,

I recommend checking out the following threads:
Start here first and try some of the exercises:
Beginners' Lounge (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=297229&page=1&pp=15)
http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=297229&page=1&pp=15
If you want to mix things up a bit, go here and try several fast 15 minute sketches. It can be really helpful to do several of these a day, and get into a routine:
I5 Minute Sketchathon - Thread 2: Sketches (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=295498)

I5 Minute Sketchathon - Thread 1: Reference (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=298699)

If you want, feel free to set up your own Personal Sketchbook Thread here:
Personal Anatomy & Sketchbook Threads (http://forums.cgsociety.org/forumdisplay.php?f=200)
http://forums.cgsociety.org/forumdisplay.php?f=200
See this thread for information about creating a personal Anatomy Thread first:
FAQ: Can I Create My Own Anatomy Thread? (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=341167)

Hope this helps - like I say, start with the Beginners' Lounge exercises. Feel free to post your questions to that thread as well. :)
Cheers,
-Rebeccak
