Hiya,

I am working on this nurbs WRX tutorial:

WRX Tutorial Birail (http://www.blissdd.com/WRX/Tutorial/pages/book_pages/Book024.html)

I tried birailing the selection as they suggested but keep getting this error message:

Error: mpBirailSrf1 (Mp Birail Srf Node): birail surface computation failed

Here is the order I am selecting the curves and rails:

I am pretty sure all the curve ends are touching.

Is it possible to attache the maya project file, so you guys could possibly take a look at it??

Thanks in advance for any help!!!

also, sounds like you're not sure that your curves are touching. Make sure they are by using curve snapping.

Use the square and boundry tool they are so much easier for this style modeling and you can set which edges you want tangent.

I think when that tutorial was written when thoes tools where only in unlimited so they weren't used.

use "snap to point" so that the endpoints touch completely. Also just select only two prifiles. Try it first with the simple birail and only 1 profile, if that works, go on to the next profile, maybe you have more than one point close together at the end of the curve and it's snapping there instead of at the end. Who knows.. :-)
