Title: Venice - Bridge of Sighs
Name: Felix Boeck
Country: Germany
Software: Maya

This is the "Bridge of Sighs", one of the important sightseeing buildings in Venice Italy. I've built this 3D-scene only with the help of some reference-photos from the internet. I've never been there. I tried to get as close as possible to the original mood. But the modeling shouldn't be a perfect copy of the original (or, it wasn't possible with the the references I had).
It was modeled and textured with Maya 8 (Mental Ray renderer) and final work was done in Photoshop (fog, more dirt...). Most of the textures were created by myself.

Wow. Amazing work!
All this desaturated colours in combination with the fog creates such a heavy mood.
No crits from me.
But if you really want a crit:
The upper part has a little painted feel to it. I love that!
But somehow some areas at lower part has more a cg look.
But this is no real issue!
Anyway, brilliant!
