View Full Version : Character: "Picasso of Middle Earth"
SPENEN 02-06-2003, 08:08 PM Aloha there! =)
This is my latest project, it's a model for the "Races of Middle Earth" Competition on CG Challenge.
The modeling took about 6 days, and rendering/editing took 2 days =). If you wanto see the WIP and the model without textures and the backround here's the url:
http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=41131
If you want a wireframe or so ,just tell me and I post it.
Anyway, it's only one thing on the picture that I'm not completle satisfied with, and that's the text. I don't know how to make it look good.
So any tips about how to make the text look neat, and fit to the picture , or maby some color changing?
Thanks in advance =)

Its a little blurry, that really takes away from the scene. The lighting is really nice adds to the picture. It would be nice to see an up close view of the thing on the right of the picture. Other than that its nice.

ah Scrab!!!!!  :buttrock:
cool! i really like the design of your creature. the picasso in it is truly recognizable! (but the legs are more dali, right? :D)
i like the whole composition, although the small version looks a bit poor.
this picture definitely provides the deepest impact when seen as a poster! ;)
really good work. the background is very moody, too!

Thx! :) :)
I'm very glad you like it =)
XerC, sorry for the bad quality of the smal res picture, but I'm not very good at compressing jpegs, so, anyway I'm going to change the background image to another cloud image I think.
It looks like the picture is stretched =/.
Thanks again!! =)

edit:
And concerning jpegs: download "ifran view" or "ACDsee classic". They do very good compressions!

I really like the head for this model, it brings out the picasso, the rest kind of confuses me but then again I failed art history. :p
