View Full Version : How to remove artifacts

hi all! Sadly I have some artifacts in my new work, I tried saving the file in tga but didnt work. Is there a way to solve it in Phtoshop?. What do yoy guys recomend me to do?

Don't save files as jpegs. If you've got jpeg artifacts in there you need to manually paint them out, there is no way to automatically fix them.

I saved the files as TGA but I can still see the artifacts. And Im working on a 512^2 texture, its almost imposible to see the artifacts to paint them out.

Could you post screenshots I have no idea what you're talking about.

If the artifacts already existed in your image (IE you were using photo sources from jpgs or something) then you'll need to manually paint them out, saving in tga won't remove them.

But it sounds like you're talking about something else entirely?
