Flipping layers in after effects

Hi, I know it's a amateur question but how do you flip layers in AF?
I have watched 3 tutorials movies and none of them have it.

if you found what scrimski (http://forums.cgsociety.org/member.php?u=48634) said is difficult try to select the layer you will find some little squares at the corners of the image in the comp view you can scale from this squares and by scaling inside and passing the center of the image you will find that the images is starting to flip continue your move till the square reaches the same place in the opposite side of the image, this is totally flipping
