CGTalk - Object Undefined

I'm cleaning up some Xpressions from a rig and came across a few that have Object Undefined Nodes in them. I know that means that that object has either been deleted or moved, but I have two questions:

1. Is there a way to find out what the Object once was? And...
2. At this point, since the Object seems to no longer be present, can I just delete the Xpression that contains it? I would guess it's not actually doing anything at this point.

1. No, the reference is gone and can not be recovered
2. Once a node is undefined the expression stops working anyway, so you can delte it. If however you have several non conencted setups in one Xpresso tag keep in mind that only the setup that includes the undefiend node does not work anymore, others will.
