Hello,
I am taking a break from CG for the next year to learn 2D animation. My first film is going to be a 15 second parody of pixar's "Luxo Jr.". It is mainly an exercise to get aquainted with the traditional 2D workflow, drawing, ink and paint, cels and film, etc. The story calls for a quick animated explosion and I was wondering if anyone could point me to some cartoon references of quick explosions or if anyone has any experience in this.
