View Full Version : Cool
dude5487 10-28-2006, 04:03 AM It looks pretty good so far. Though I can't really see so much of it as its so short. Anyway to make it longer?
I do notice that on the third step, his right toes go higher then any other part of the animation. Just on that step.
Keep it up :)

Hey there. I plan on animating a character walking, jogging, running, sneaking, etc. Just to practice all different types of movement. This is my first attempt at a walk, which is what he starts out doing. I'm using the Lowmax rig. C&C is highly appreciated, I really want to perfect the walk before I move on.
(Face isn't animated yet)

Thanks, the right foot and toes were going a bit higher. I'll animate some more walking today and post a longer video.
(How did your reply become the thread? Strange...)

Here's the update. It's a bit longer now.

Ugh, Putfile is locking up on me when I try to view the file. If it's doing the same for everyone else I'm going to have to find another way to host my videos. Don't like putfile much anyway...

Yeh I dunno why my posts have been getting bumped up before previous posts. I posted something in gen discussion about it for the mods to read. Its really wierd lol.
Looking better. Towards the end right off I noticed that on the last two steps, the knees pop out. The toes are looking a lot better I must say.:)
Is there anyway to get another angle? I like the current one. Though I would like to see a possible side and front view to check out other things. For instance in this view it is hard for me to see how much the hips sway when the character is walking.
Keep it up!
