Hi,
now I use the 4.5. version and I realy dont like the default Settings.

how can I open the attribute editor in an external window ?
At the moment it opens on the right side instead of the channel box.

Preferences->Interface->Open Attribute Editor. Set it to "In Separate Window". You can set where the Tools settings dialog opens as well.
