It is possible with maya fluid efx to simulate (or fake) the water inside a glass (?) -like realflow plug-
If anyone know some link to tutorials... i'll appreciate!

usually i tend to say RTFM as well :surprised .. but in this case:

itīs not really possible..
there are some workarounds all posted here in the forum.
search for them..
i think the most promising solution is the plugin that can be found here:
