Hi everybody. I love to design, an I work with 2D images, but I want to learn 3D. I'm trying Strata 3D, but I think that I'm troubles with the images (20 min. of render for a weel) I work with a Mac; 700MHz and 512Mb but I feel that it's slowly. Maybe I buy a PC, but I want to know the minimum requirements to work without problems. The PC that I'm following is a Win XP Peuntium4, 3.0GHz, 1,5Gb ram, 128Mb video... It's enough?

Hey,

Yeah that pc sounds like it is fine for a beginner. One thing you may want to try to do first, is learn how to model objects with less polygons in them. This could be a factor in the slowness of your renders, however I've never used 3D on a mac or the program you're using.
Anyway, that pc sounds ok. If you can afford it, it's always better to have more ram and a faster CPU however.

Good luck with your 3d man,

Cheers :D

Hey, thanks... I'm not a professional, in fact, I learned to do 2D by myself '^_^ and now with Strata 3D, I think that its easy, but you're right, I've made many polygons... MACs are excelent machines but I feel the mine slow, and maybe it's a good idea to buy the PC...

Thank you very much =)
