View Full Version : Path deform problem?
Wancieho 02-06-2003, 10:20 AM I realise I don't totally understand what the problem is but is there a solution. Basically I want to apply a pathDeform modifier to an object and collapse to editable mesh. Problem is when I apply the modifier the object deforms but rotates? Why? I don't want it to rotate. I tried using *pathDeform but I can't collapse. Why is there no "move to path" on the normal pathDeform?
Someone please:)

Try using the world space modifier of pathdeform. That one has the move to path function
Hope this helps

Hi Wancieho,
Go this way man:
After the *Path Deform Modifier is in the Stack>Pick Path>Move to Path (When you are happy with the result) >Edit Stack, select Path Deform Binding in the Edit Modifier Stack Dialog (it is blue now)>Press Collapse to ( NOT Collapse all) And it works!
