I know this question has been asked a million times on this forum, but I'm trying to smooth an edge.. gradually. well i guess technically it won't be an edge that i'm smoothing but in appearance it'd be an edge. i've tried smoothing groups but it doesn't seem to flow right for me. i've looked thru the sticky's and i don't believe i've seen it yet. any help is appreciated. thanks

Smoothing an edge..

..in what way? I don't think I entirely understand your problem.
Like the highlighted edge in my quickly-whipped-up attached image?

hey, thanks for replying. after digging through the 8 million posts on the subdiv sticky i found it :D
