HAIL!
im new in this forum :)

but every day i spend some time to read some thread and see the work wich users show.......

you're all monsters:drool:

im a super mega newbie on the world of 3d....im trying to study lightwave and at this moment i'm making a chess set.....

but the pieces are futuristic...(i think this is good to learn all the tool in modeler...) this is a WIP of my pawn....can you tell me what do you think....

no matter how futuristic it is, if you want to call it a chess piece, it must resemble the original piece in order to be recognizablein some way. I would make the ball at the top smaller, leave the center section as it is, and make the base larger, that way the proportions would look like those of a typical pawn.

Would really like to see the horse. :-)

Thats right what chess piece is it? Yoy should creatie for the pion a rather simple one and the horse king and quen a more detailed model, thats the way a real life chess set is set up to.
