View Full Version : Point height survey, modelling landscapes/sites

Can anyone tell me the best way to model sites when you only have point heights to work with? Ive tried rebuilding surfaces but that only allows you to allocate points along grids, most survey heights are not along a grid. I know how to model contours, but not point heights. Can anyone help?

you can make curves along points. Then Surface from curve network can be build.
If you send a picture, we can see clearly what you want to make.

DavidRutten has a nice script that uses point clouds. I tihnk this is wha tyou are looking for

his script is somewher eon his site under programming and Rhinodot net script. I remembered tha tit was not under landscaping so you might have to search around.
