Hey all, collaborated with some friends over the summer and put together this random vsfx shot for fun. Pretty happy with the turn out, needed a bit more time with the compositing and the environtment stands out a bit but we ran out of time. I was responsible for the character work in the shot, I'm sure the other guys will post once this is up. Anywho here is one of the unfinished plates, shot and breakdown are below.

Hey its good to see this up. This was quite the challenge getting a camera rigged 20 feet in the air. A tip to everyone, make sure that when going outside to in, you have enough light inside, it was a pain going back in and creating digital markers inorder to get a 3d track. This was also my first attempt at using Maya particles to create rain. It was mixed with some great practical rain effects. I also helps with doing some of the character rotos and assemblage compositing. Mad props to Jeremy for getting the character done and shaded.
