Hi Annabelle! I'm happy to be the first to comment, I relly enjoyed your reel. The models look great and the shading in the kitchen scene is awesome! Congratulations and good luck for the future!

What it contains is great work... I think it's a bit short/lacking as far as displaying what all your capable of though... any more material of this quality you can add to it?
Might be good idea to identify what were looking at too (SubD's?)

Hey Lupin ;) Thanks much!
As far as other work, I don't have much fully polished work, but what would you guys think of including some work in progress to be viewed after the reel? Or I have some maquettes I could include photos of...???
Any good traditional art always helps so long as it doesnt fall short of your featured work (the 3D.)
The enivornment is crazy good, freaking great, minus the sink that looks like a plastic tray slid in. It's definitly stronger than your character/creature stuff, and it should be your focus if you intend to add any more to the reel 3D wise.
When you're applying, definitly look up some lighting TD positions and dont include the character stuff, because it doesnt show case it nearly as well unless you fix it up a bit and push it to the same level of quality.
Really, that interior is one of the best to come out of the school, if not the best entirely 3D interior Ive seen come out of there. Be proud and whore it out.

The kitchen was great, everything about it, the lighting, the textures, even the camera work. You may want to consider putting that ahead of the first model of the wee beastie and it's rider before you send it out to potential employers. Great that you rigged and animated the ferret (?sorry, don't know my woodland critters very well) but I found the shadows of the bushes or trees over top of them distracting and took away from me looking at the model (which is what I was supposed to be looking at). You may even want to show the rig you used as well.
Good luck in the job hunt!
