Riddlaz 02-06-2003, 06:14 AM http://trainingvids.phpwebhosting.com/riddlaz/Tutorials/LeafProject/Title.jpg
I just finished my advanced photoshop/max texture painting tutorial, dough it's mostly dedicated to texture painting with ps some of the section are max especific.
Note: there is also a downloadable **PDF** (http://trainingvids.phpwebhosting.com/riddlaz/Tutorials/LeafProject/LeafProject.pdf) version of the tutorial .

A very nicely-written interestingly read. I don't think the .pdf is as pleasing as it could be with a tiny bit of effort. There's little or no textformatting, and pictures shows up a little late after the text says "Here's an example.." and such.
That's just visual tiny-crit stuff though, the information contained within is useful. Don't know if you've read the Texture Guides Leigh has written over in the Texturing Forum, it covers to a degree the same basic ideas you speak of here.
At any rate: good work!

Thanks guys  .
Gaggle, yeah I know about the pdf, it was made pretty fast just to release along with the tutorial, I know it isn’t fancy but its just a little something to make the tutorial easier for offline view but I’ll see what I can do about the example images and such :D.
Yes as a matter of fact I’ve gone trough her tutorials, it’s a nice overview of texturing attributes. Dough mine is geared toward texture painting with ps but I also go into theory as much as I can to make sure everything is clear before we start making a specific map this way people new or intermediate at texturing could now what is it, why are they doing it, why are they doing it this way and how is it done, I tried to make sure nothing was left out.
