Cool. Sounds like that report is for non-CG peeps though; it's very patronising. Every show on earth these days features things that aren't possible at the time of production, they all require coding of new programs or new plug-ins. SONY Imageworks wants a pat on the back for that do they?

I think they deserve a pat on the back, as would any company that needs something done and develops a way to do it. I think it's something to be proud of.

Which is used to sell the movie to the general public, not other film professionals.
