View Full Version : Gyar Post Production
PaulHellard 10-25-2006, 04:51 AM Hi there,
I thought it was timely to feature another Hungarian Studio. a) because there is such good material coming out of that country, and b) the country has passed the 50 year political milestone. Gyar Post Production completed this Domestos spot and gave CGSociety a detailed look into the workflow and production process. Showed us round the premises and introduced the very talented workers.

Its pretty good, the DOF is a bit much and the lighiting looks way oversaturated to me. An intresting look in to someones pipeline if anything.

Hi there,
A number of viewers have expressed some difficulties loading the story. In some browsers, only a black page loads. We'll be looking into the problem in a couple hours.
In the meantime, try Firefox. Go to Gyar's website <http://www.gyar.hu>, and everyone who CAN see the feature can tell people who CAN'T, how good it looks.

Hey there.
Another studio that I am working in like 200 meters away from A GYÁR (now moved) is Budapest Animation.
Sadly I can't provide any material now, but I hope it will appear here also.
Another studio is Oberon (http://www.oberon.hu)
Then again there is Varga Digital wich is the "child" of Varga Studio wich was one of the best animation studios in the world.

It's cool, but the previous germ domestos tv commercials were much better (the "millions will die" ones). I'm not saying this is bad, just the overall look is less 'tight'.
Cheers!
