The bird will be the supporting actor in my upcoming short :).

Bet you made a half bird and then cloned/mirrored it ;)

Don’t know if its intended that it should look like it was made of rubber. If not try to apply some bump maps, turn down glossiness and add some roughness :lightbulb

Beside that its a sweat little bird and whit a animator whit a bright head full of ideas it could be every u want it to be :D

Its a bird full of opportunities :wip:

Depends on your software + CPU....

I am working on a p3 866, on 3D max 4.
I know that shug hair is more of a fur, hair simulation
and i am searching for a way to make more feathers like hair.

You COULD use the scatter thingie... (Create object/compund object/scatter) by making one feather and then scatter it over the bird.

There might be a better way, though...

Very nice plump birdy! :D

For feathers, you could try extruding the edges individually to create some off-shooting flat polys, the apply an opacity map to each one to give you feathers some shape.

It's good to see jewish artists in here, I'm jewish too :-)

Nice bird, he'd be a lot better if u put some feathers on his tummy. :-) :wip:
