Hi,
this is the short we did at Lunokhod studio at our spare time.
It was presented earlier, back in ceptember at the CGEvent (http://www.cgevent.ru/eng/) conference in Moscow.

The production took about 1 month (not counting the final rendering time), with 4 people involved.
Music by Nelly Furtado.

Visually it was a stunning reel, but i am not so sure of the animation. Maybe animation was not the focal point but what little was in there seemed kinda sluggish. Maybe it was intentional, but i didn't really understand what was being conveyed. I didn't know whether he was hesitant to take the smoke or whether it was just the animation.

Again kudos on the style, and the modelling. although there were a few flickers in the hair now and again and at the end, it looked like a hand print on his face, but that may be the texture and you wanted show that the other guy had his hand in the air for quite a while and the other guy tanned whith the hand print?

The handprint is actualy a suntan:) You can see it earlier on the first guys face, cos' he was sitting there for a long time... and at the end when it shows on the second guy we understand that there was only one single character from the beggining:)

But, it doesn't matter, you should only catch the mood here, thats all;)
