Hello.
I have an architectural project which requires the watercolor, hand-rendered look.

I have rendered using Unreal Extreme to get the edges and simpler colors, then applied the Film Grain and Watercolor filters in Photoshop. Looks alright.

Just wondering if anyone has (and would share) their method for attaining the "hand rendered" look using Lightwave and Photoshop (or apps of choice)?

Thanks all,

I've seen some neat stuff done with this. I don't know if the demo is save-disabled but it might be worth a look...

Perhaps these 2 links may be of interest to you:

I'm interested in seeing samples of the images you rendered using your described technique. Any chance you can post them?

Hey, these are all great resources and links. Thanks so much.

In terms of posting my work, this is it. Still a WIP. I'll try some new things now, now that I have so many new avenues to go down.

Thanks!!!

i'm pitching for a 3d pencil rendered 3d project...

wip is here

the skunk is just a placeholder character,,,not for the actual project...

pencil is not too hard to achieve...just go using black for the outlines...as pencils are not black but grey...just add a basic toon shader [2 zones] and off you go...these were made in 3dsmax but lightwave is also well upto the task...actually lightweave's lines are better...but i needed to render this out in my 3dsmax rather than my lightwave as i may need to use motion capture on the character [not a skunk] and max is just drag n drop..
