Looks pretty neat from what I've seen here. Haven't heard about it until now. Cool to see Seinfled attached to it.

ANOTHER?!?!?! insect cg animated movie?!?!? This had better bee something completely different than everything else that's come before it.

Yeah, this really sucks. With 3d animation you can do anything, why limit it to cutsy little creature films?

Yeah, this really sucks.

You guys are unbelievable.

I'd give my left (insert appendage here) to work on this film.

I'd give my right one then.
Love to work on that too.

Actually this one looks a lot more interesting than another bugs life clone. Btw, i saw the preview for Bee Movie on the Over the Hedge DVD and it looks really cheesy....but with seinfeld attatched, what do you expect.

From an animators perspective: Yes it would be fun to work on this movie
From a viewers perspective: What?! another bug movie?! Aren't we up to about 5 already ?!

So what if this is an other movie with bugs? Aren't a 100000 movies with people? The story and how it's tolled it's all that matter, not in what world takes place. And I love Jerry Seinfled and i'm glad that he is more involved in the project besides than given voice to a character. Hope this movie turns out to be fun to watch.

There is also a trailer on the Over the Hedge DVD....

I thought I said no more insect movies!

I agree with Adrian Lazar. If the characters are interesting and the film has good, well told story, I personally don't care if it's insects. Plus, it's bees this time, not ants. :D

Yeah, I'll agree with that. The one thing that seems to be different is that the bugs are interacting and talking directly with humans. Could be interesting. Yeah, there are a million bug movies out, but ya never know. This could turn out to be a real gem.

Or it could suck.

Either way, I'll reserve judgement until I see more about it. One thing though, is that Dreamworks' human characters always look really creepy to me for some reason. Not sure what it is. Is it just me? The only human character I didn't find freaky was the King in Shrek II.

Yeah, that human in the second and eigth picture looks really creepy! ;)

Totally! His hair looks awful. What were they using to make it? Geez! :D

Actually I'm working on the film, and when I first got assigned to it, I had
the same feeling, oh! no... another insect CG movie. But guess what, the
movie is hilarious, and the fact that the bees are insects has nothing to do
with any other insect movie... I'm very proud of being part of this project now!

I really don't think I can handle another CG Insect movie either.
Can't wait to see it though!

I wish dreamworks would go back to the madagascar style. I love that movie

I like the expression and design on the woman character. The main character, I dunno. He has a big bee butt. All the bee characters do. It's not the most appealing design, but at least it feels different from the other insect movies.

Hopefully with Seinfeld apparently writing and producing, it should make for a slightly less generic film from Dreamworks. Dreamworks films generally have seemed to lack a single cohesive vision.
