Forgiven 02-05-2003, 07:33 PM Hi everybody!
I'm new to Maya, and this is my 1st character ever. I'm studying 3D animation and this guy is intended to be animated later.
HERE are the images (http://personal.telefonica.terra.es/web/pablogallery/Non_web_images/Gorilla.htm)
I do not post images now, because i prefer to show these ones linked( there are a few...), and i'll post updates, ok?
Comments and crits welcome!!

He he, yes, it looks like, but it's just because i'm using this material instead of default lambert, it helps me more in this case to see the mesh in solid mode.
No more comments?

Now it's time to go to next stage: Texturing!! I'll post 1st updates of texturing ASAP
hey,
the character is pretty cool, but its too... symetrical (not sure about the word) and too plastified, try to make his skin a little bit less stretched.
good work.

Yes, I know it's kinda plastified, that's because I was using a blinn material to model, to see better the mesh.
Thanks for your comments!
I'm finishing my 1st texturing tests, updates coming soon...:wip:
