both work... but it depends on what you have in mind to do...so i can't really tell you..
but i think that as i sayd... both work fine..depends on what for..

b work fine.. except for one thing... cause of the physiology of the character... the brain.(craneum) should be less flat..(dog, horse)for example.. or even dinosaurs..it has to do with the muscles i think...
anyway.. both work again... but the question is... is it just to do a model?.. or is he in a specific environment... i think that a good idea could be to do a short bio of the character.. that might help you to decide on which.... cuase it's hard to figure out if you don't know what do u what to do witht the character... anyway... hope that helps...
