View Full Version : 2D - 3D chains switch

While rigging a tail i first mistakenly used a 2D chain, then i noticed the skeleton snaps in weird positions and refuses to undo correctly.
Then i tried switching all 2D-type bones to 3D-type ones. The tail worked correctly, except the first bone after root refused to obey the end effector altogether. And i couldnt make it move, no matter what.

My question is - why did that bone behave like that ?

And only after remaking the tail chain fully as 3D-type from the scratch gave me expected results.
