hi;

max 5.1, cs 4, xp pro.

the mesh , when the character is moving a lot, doesn't exactly
follow the bip head => face distorsion (noose, mouth e.i.)
why? :surprised

thx

bye :rolleyes:

Do you have any envelopes below the head affecting the head vertices? Often the neck/shoulder bones can affect the head if they are not adjusted.

the vertices of the head are properly assigned as rigid

when they are assigned as deformable you will get the phenomena you are experiencing, where the model seems to have a loosely fitting face that slides and moves and pulls around the model a bit

so basically assign your head vertices as rigid to the head bone

hello

so the question is : now with vertex rigid how can i manage flex?

Is it possible to "flex" a bone?

I tried but didn't work.

thx and bye
