View Full Version : dynamic object collision problem
titan44 10-22-2006, 03:22 AM I have an object that gets hit with a few dynamic Collision objects to break it up, all works well, but what i want to do is "snap" it back to it's original postion, after the object has been in it's blown out state for a bit. I've been hunting around for a solution but can't find anything, i think I must have missed something.
Any ideas?

quick hack is to sim the object exploding, then mddscan it, and replace the original once its blown out with an mmdplugin version playing backwards....or skip the mdd and just do it with the FX playback...

Thanks the reply HowardM, i was afraid i'd have to do a quick and dirty hack for it, and i really don't want to, but i'll take a look at it, thanks again.

open your mind, a hack, a button, who cares, its all faked all hacked, do whatever it takes to make the shot work, as fast as you can.... ;)
