Title: Ancient Gate
Name: Rawad Sarkis
Country: Canada
Software: After Effects, Photoshop, XSI

This image was probably my toughest project ever because it's not just a still it's a video were you enter towards the gate.
The Gryphon is a guardian portrayed by the ancient civlization (which is also as part of my short story) were the lizard creatures were slaves who constructed the gate
Modelling in XSI, All textures and bumps were done in photshop, and comping was done in after effects

that's really nice, but as a history student i can tell you that those 2 pillars wouldn't survive that long, break the tops and crumble one of them at least :)

Great job Rawad.

I really liked seeing how much you improved since term 4.

The lighting is great, and you did some very nice work on those textures.

Keep it up man.

Hi Guys

I reaaaaaaaaaalllllllyyyyy appreciated your comments and critiques it made my day reading them :) sorry it took some time to reply but I am preparing my portfolio and resumes to start looking for a job.

Acantarel and G-aa-N: yeah I'll put the animation soon it'll be part of my demo reel just as soon as I finish my website which won't be long

Seifosid: hmmm thnx man I did destroy the pillars on the other side but I do agree that I should've chipped the top of one of them :)

pK-man: I'll mail the mint for you soon:)

Yuta: Thnx man for your comment.. well probably if I added a little fog the depth would show off. As for depth blur I tried many times but It didn't make the environment look as big as it should instead it made it smaller, and as for the night light..... maybe If I want to revisit the project later but right now I need to change a little bit I've been working at this for 4 months:shrug:
