Hello all.

I'm looking for suggestions and feedback on my facial test for a new character. This is just a short facial test to exercise his face and expressions. One feedback I've heard is that eyes should not move together when making a mad or sad face. Is this true? I do not know. Perhaps only the brows should move, and the eyes stay put. Do you see other problems with the animation or expressions? I'm not really looking for critiques on the character himself, but if you see something I could do to change the character to make him more animate-able, then I would consider it.

The animation can be seen here:

And here is a frame from the animation:

the start is good

but in going to give you some critics

first is norma to move the face before start to talk

when we smile the time is to litle to change to normal to smile pose latter you have to hold the smile more time

the trasition that you make is very slow

revise your morphs the movement of the eyebrows in the final movil is strange

if this movement of the smile morph never make changes in the eyes and mouth area in the same morph.

when you move the eyes to the left and later to the right is god to stop the eyes in the midle 10 or 12 frames.

Thanks Luigi for the reply. Your suggestions will be taken into account when I actually start animating. However, I am looking more for feedback on the blendshapes. You did mention my targets once--

"revise your morphs the movement of the eyebrows in the final movil is strange"

The last transition I made was from:

sad eyes to normal eyes
+
frown mouth to smile mouth

Is this the transition you were referring to? What can I change in the brows to make them better or read better?
