well this is my third try to form a really good looking female head,

in my opinion,
this head looks like a childs one...
(my personal wish is that i create a woman face about the 25 years ...)

in this practise - i worked on it only 2 - 4 days -
i tried to model in perspective mode...

syomka made a really incredible artwork with his creation "Anna"

well i tried to get a solution of orthographic and perspective
modeling because i think it is a bit problematic to model
in perspective

so give my some tips or advises

info: 3ds max 5.1 - Brazil 1.0 (GI) - poly modeling

PS: first image is modified in Painter (contrast - adjust color...)

Well, there's not much that can be seen from the particular angle you've given, but there are somethings that can be critiqued.

First thing I noticed was the nose. The crease at it's base between the cheeks and the nose itself seems quite wide and perhaps even messy with the poly usage, the cut also appears to be too long and sharp/defined. Remember that the nose crease is supposed to be gentle and subtle . . .

Second is the lips, the corners just don't seem to mesh porperly with the rest of the face, giving it a not entirely realistic look.
No ideas on how to make her look older yet though.

Somehow, she reminds me of Pete Syomka's Anna...

Judging from the front view, I have a few suggestions on making the model head appear more female.
Firstly you might want to try lowering the nose a bit. After that it might also be good to make the chin/jaw narrower, the current layout makes her seem somewhat unfeminine.

your are right TEMPORAL!

but it isnīt a special feature of a womanīs head that the chin must be so "narrow"
(in the last picture the chin is to large...)

ok

small modeling update

nice model, but it seems that there is problem with the upper eyelids. are there big gaps between the eyelid and the eyebrow?
but it is very nice overall:applause:
