Hi Guys! :-)
i have a problem with cloth.
and i dont understand all whats written in the manual.

when i run my simulator and my cloth hits my object it wraps around the object but it doesnt stops moving when its wraped.
it looks like some creature or somthing is under the cloth!
and jumping around the i just can stop "moving"

one other thing is that when i type collision offset 0.25 it doesnt look good. the cloth goes into the collsion object :-/ somtimes i have to type 1 or even 3!! and the collsion DEEPTH what the heck is that?`i dont understand what they mean in the manual.

thanks :-) the biggest problem is the "jumping under the cloth"

best regards LobsterLeg

Try to change the solverscale to , for example, 10.
That works for me =)

Try increasing the damping parameters for the cloth solver - it's all in the manuals. Sometimes you will have to put up with the jumping, or rebuild your cloth object. to be a simpler shape

It's often caused by a complicated cloth shape - the internal forces never settle out properly.

As for the collision depth, again it's in the manuals. This just sets the cut-off point (in the direction opposite to the collision surface normal) at which Maya will stop trying to push the cloth back outside the object again if it does happen to penetrate.

Maya's cloth's OK, but it can be incredibly frustrating sometimes!
