Hi, how do I make a quicktime VR film from an object I've build in maya?

Is there any free tools that alow me to make such a .mov file?

i think there is no free tool for quicktime. but you can try www.cult3d.com

Maybe you've seen the mel (and the tutorial for use)which helps to render a sequence for VR editing.
Then you can buy an Apple tool for exporting this sequce as a .mov in object centric, panorama style...
Or find a free technic (eg using java langage) to do it...
