Hye everbody :D

My first post and my first request 4 help :P

So like the title says, does anybody have a good tutorial on "How to make water" ? Preferably without any costly plugins :P ;-)
----or----
Could sum1 make 1 ?

I've been on the look 4 such tutorials 4 AGES but sumhow I don't have any luck on that :( I THINK all I could find out was that there 2 methods: 1 with reactor and another without.

Thanx alot b4hand (^_^)

maybe you could decribe what effect your looking for. Water comes in many different forms each with its own approach: Oceans, rivers, ponds, icy, sprays, waves, fountains, waterfalls, rain, water from a hose not to mention other specifics like how close or far the shot will be, what kind of lighting conditions, animated, still, etc...

The more details you give, the easier it is for people to help you.

I was looking 4 tutorials how 2 make water as an object e.g u have a pond or water in a glass and u can "pick up" or move the water, as if it were an object...or it is an object.

What I wanted 2 do was put bloodcells in blood and just make a still...

Well thanx 4 the tutorials :) I'll certainly do em all ;-) It won't hurt :D

@Dimawer1987

*lolz* The bloodcell tutorial was exactly the tutorial I was doing, but the environmant is a plane. What I wanted 2 use was "real"-blood. So I tried use a box and add noise and scatter the blood cells in it --> the boodcells were scattered on the walls of the box not in the box.

That's why I wanna make a fluid/blood and distribute the bloodcells in the blood.

Use a Pflow emmitter and reference one of your blood cells and where you get the opton of emmitters chose your box or whatever and emmit to the inside of your box and set up some deflectors to your box wall dimensions to keep the cells inside. Keep an eye on your velocity and don't forget to add some randomness with some inversed pboms or negative winds to give them direction and noise. Or keyframe your cells to positive and negative wind values to animate the pulsing effect of real blood flow. Render with some motion blur and it should look pretty sweet.I'll post the location of a relavent Max tutorial within Max in a few minutes after I do a quick search.

search the tutorials (not reference) for "Creating the Missiles Using Particles".
No quotes. That should give you info on using an instanced object for your particles. (your blood cells)

"Creating the Collision" goes over some basic particle collision within Pflow. It's fairly easy once you get it open and start playing with the events and parameters.
