View Full Version : Problem doing mirror paste

I am trying to do mirror paste and on the left side whole vertices move to weired places.

Though one odd thing in my case is that in mirror mode vertex ticks are at some offset and that is may because, I had moved my morphed mesh to match the skinned mesh.

But other vertices are alright except finger vertices, so I dont know what's wrong (offset may not be the real reason).. anybody have any idea?

AH! got the problem. In mirror paste max will not include the vertex automatically if they were excluded initially. So when I was pasting the weight those vertices where floating without proper assignments to any bones (if vertex is associated with 1 bone only and weight less than 0.5 is equal to 0).

So I had to first include the vertices manually to respective bones and then I pasted weights and it worked fine :)
