hello, i just finished a demo reel. i am in the process of fine-tuning it before i send it out. i figured this would be a great place to start.

the focus is character art and setup. the animation on the reel is mainly to show rig functionality, and to entertain. As a setup reel, i was trying to keep it entertaining with some sound, music and movement. anyways the site is also new so please give me feedback on that if you notice something. Tomorrow i will be posting an image or two so you can pre-view what you are going to be watching. i hope you enjoy.

looking for full-time production position.

Nice work dude...!
I reallyy liked your choice of characters and the way u have rigged the roots of the tree... I presume, u used dynamic joint chains for it....? there's a nice realistic flow with the tree walk... Ur reel also has huge potential for a fat n muscle system.....
Good work...!! n a neat artictic feel too...

Hey dude. Some advice from a fellow rigger:

Don't show something again that you've already shown once (such as the back rig, which you move around on the second character, when it can be taken for granted that you can rig a back after seeing the first character) unless there's something particularly special about it.

Secondly, always make sure you put your coolest and most eye-catching / attractive stuff first. You want the recruiter to hopefully get "hooked" during the first ten seconds.

Thirdly, for facial demonstrations, I think it could be cool to render your character's face making different emotive faces (while staying in character). Just an idea.

Lastly, and this is from a nitpicky animation standpoint.. watch out with crashing. When the tree guy starts walking and steps on the rock, there's a lot of crashing through the ground. (The point of the sequence in my opinion is that you're trying to prove your rig can work good enough to overcome problems like that kind of crashing.) I'd fix that crash if I were you. (I liked the rest of the animation though.)

Cheers! ;)
