Just started out randomly making some marks to get warmed up in the morning. About 6 hours later i got to this. Done in photoshop cs. About halfway through i wanted to convey the feeling of just really pissed off orc, and that you wouldnt want to hurt him any more cause he might get even madder. So mine as well make it a quick death. Any and all crits are most welcome.

Thanks for the compliements, i appreciate them. Any crits would really help me though, so please, grind into this thing like it was prom night..or something of that nature.

Hi Cole!
Okay, that's technically perfect. I really like the way you did him and the colours seem to work well together, as well.

Since you wanted crits though, I seem to have one :)
The thing is that the orc, after looking at him closely, doesn't look that pissed. His eyes seem to be open a bit too wide, making him look a bit more scared than angry. I think that it could be fixed extremely easily though: You could narrow the eyes by "knitting his eyebrows" or/and by pushing his lower lid up, to cover a bit of the lower part of the eye. Uh, I hope I make some sense here =P

Another idea:
I think this "eyes wide open" effect is formed by the lack of extention of the shadow (the one under the eyebrows and between the corners of the eyes and the nose) ONTO the eyes. Therefore, I believe you could just narrow them by adding some "multiple style" brush strokes onto the eyeballs.

It really is just nitpicking from my side, but I hope it helps. Fantastic artwork all around!

Hahaha! awesome! Great picture, I'd echo BlacKeri's comments on the eye's not looking mean. He should look really pissed!! You may need to make the eye's a bit bigger too once you slant the brows down, to keep it with that crazed look.
Some drool and blood in his mouth could help too.

Awesome, thanks for the crits, I totally agree with all of you, i hate it when you're working on something and after a couple hours you just stop seeing stuff...I will get on those changes later on tonight and thanks again for the crits. Cole.
