View Full Version : Delete/Collapse parts of the history?
danyrey 02-05-2003, 05:38 AM Hi there,
is it possible to delete only parts of the history??
For example: you need some parts of the history and some you dont. Poly tweaks and the like not but conversions to subd yes.
It would be handy if you could create something like "history-containers" you know, nodes that contain all history nodes you selected collapsed into that single node for faster computation.
Is there anything out there like this??

I believe there's a script for this on highend... it collapses part of the history into a tweak node.

You can do history manipulation manually, but it's a bit tedious, but if there's a MEL script for it, great!
I went to highend to look for it. I found several of them, just go to the MEL scripts section and type 'History' in the search box below. There are quite a few results that come back, and most of them do not do what you want, but there are a few that do, just look through them all.
yepp You are soooo right, how could I been so "fresh", I tryed the one and it as you so well mentioned did NOT do what I hoped for but we live to learn.
thx

I had the same problem for awhile.. It seemed any time I tried to download a file (shader, script, whatever), I kept getting re-directed back to the file listing page -- very annoying.
the solution was to turn off my firewall software before loading the HE3D pages -- No more problem. So if you're running BlackIce Defender, Norton Internet Security, of similair programs trying turing them off before going to your HE3D bookmark
