Hi, I am using Premier and I have rendered out an animation in Max in individual frames. How can I import them all into premier at the appropriate frame rate?

Thanx in Advance.

import 1 file while "numbered stills" is ticked on and that will import the sequence, then rightclick your click in your bin and go to "interpret footage" to check if the settings (framerate etc.) are correct

I'm using version 6, is that the options that should be available to me? Can't see to find them. I can import ok, thanks for the help, it's just changing frame rate etc.

Found it! Thanks for the help!

Gah...I'm stringing the final version of my film on Premier Pro 2.0 at the mo (wow am I missing the ease of use #6!!) When I import my TGA's, the background is transparent...how can I change the colour of the 'document' background? It's black, I want it kind of an off white.

And why, when I import sound into the timeline, there is no visual representation? How do I turn it on? It gets very confusing otherwise!

I think it has to do with the type of file, is that any help?

And why can't I export my project as a movie? Whenever I try, I get a error about 150 frames into the export! HELP PLEASE!

this is more of a workaround than a solution, but i hope it helps:

Why not import your TGA seq into After Effects first then convert it to a Jpeg sequence of the best resolution. Then import that into Premier, I seroiusly doubt, you'll need the TGA's alpha data in premier.

Either way, depending on the format you want to export it to, why not export it thru AFX instead? In my exp., we only needed to export animaiton to premier when we needed to dump them to Beta SP or HDTV format. :)

good luck!

I need the alpha data for some scenes; and anyway I have it all synched up nice and I'm just trying to export it now into an AVI or something but I get an error message about 150 frames into the export...anyone know why and how I can fix it?
