Hello All,

This is my first Reel, so feel free to shred it pieces. It will help immensely. I an currently a fourth year student (junior), and I don't have enough stuff for a specialized reel. Eventually I'm hoping to composite a rigging/animating reel, just need to finish more stuff!!! :).

Thanks to everyone who says hi

Thanks Cory for helping, although it doesn't seem to be working. Would it make a difference if I 'm trying to upload it from my local computer from my network and not from the web?

btw, I like your hell beast wing roots, the formation where they attach to the body are realistic and well done.

Yes... Yes it would. Do you have web space or a FTP at all?

I am really no good at crit on other peoples work since I have nothing on my side to follow up my words.

But right now it has a bunch of content but none of it is polished, animations are rigid. The flying eggs and the baby dragon... just take it out.

The environment is blaa. Lighting is week and the modals need a few more passes in modeling, texturing, and shading. (For the shadow and master mugging).

Also this reel is more of a generalist reel instead of a TD reel, since it does not have rig break downs and scripts umong other things.

The music is cool I was all into it till mmmm 00:00:04 of the reel when I saw the enviroment.

Keep on working on it man make the modals more built for high res work and work on the animations and it should look allot more appealing.

Sorry for the harsh crit but I did not sleep well while my computer was DL the Larg verson all night...

I do have to agree with cory, but it shouldn't let you down this just may not be the time for a demo reel, work more on which skill you prefer and post anohter demoreel but really take your time as learning modeling, rigging, animation or lightning skills would take a lot of time

your next demoreel doesn't have to be a short film, just concentrate on the skill you are intrested in working with and keep it simple
