Title: A Wizard of Tea
Name: Ursula Vernon
Country: USA
Software: Painter

Big-eyed, vaguely cartoony girl. Sparkly magic. Some days, you can actually feel yourself going to the dark side as you paint.

This was done entirely to appease my inner teenage girl, who gets surprisingly uppity granted that I'm nearly thirty. And yet, I regret nothing! Nothing!

Except possibly all the tea I drank while painting. This could have been done several hours earlier if I hadn't had to keep running to the bathroom. Anyway, Painter 7, Intuos 2, several gallons of Earl Grey. I actually own that teapot.

Thanks to had accept the link between our portfolios. I really very like the stylisation of your universe. This wizard of tea is incredibly sympatic, and she look to come from Dark Crystal movie.
It's make me want to have a cup of tea ;-).

Loveing your work as always Usula - It's great to see you doing more humans, much as I love your random furry animals and pink lizards, your people have a charm to them as well.

Keep it up! :)

What a lovely image. Great movement, color, and texture. I really wish I could make tea like that.

Reminds me of the gnomes from WarCraft. Great sense of motion. Because of the ambiguity of the background, though, the sparkly magic didn't really pop out as sparkly magic at first, her hands feel very much to be in front/on top of those magic particles, so the magic doesn't have much of an anchor into the foreground and falls back.

edit: This would make an excellent wallpaper too~
